Again - the colour is a distractor - concentrate on the basic unit in a particular pattern and try to create that first.

You are trying to break the problem down into something manageable. Beware of trying to do too much too quickly.

By using procedures you can refine each step and store each unit for later use.

Remember too, that you want someone following behind you to see where you went.
