Rules of Twin Corresponding Sudokus
This Sudoku variant is based on the concept of '??Corresponding
Sudoku'? which is member of an infinite set of Sudoku puzzles
such that each of its nine digits corresponds in position and
substituted value to a digit in another matching Sudoku
problem
In addition to the 9 digits, each '??substituted value'? can be a
letter, a symbol, a picture, a word, etc. This variant consists
of a pair of standard Sudoku puzzles with the matching starting
digits incorresponding positions.. The solution for each of the
twin puzzles (named Twin A and Twin B) is not complete. To get a
complete solution for the twin puzzles, we have to solve each
twin puzzle with the usual strategy and method as applied to
standard Sudoku. After obtaining as many digits as possible from
the starting digits in each "twin", we can get the complete
solution for the twin puzzles by substituting the equivalent
values of the digits from one corresponding Sudoku into the
other.
As with all the Sudoku puzzles published here, the object of this
Sudoku variant is to fill in the whole 9x9 grid with numbers 1
through 9 (one number per cell) so that each horizontal line,
each vertical line, and each of the nine 3x3 squares (outlined
with the bold lines) must contain all the nine different numbers
1 through 9.
