In China this Game is known as Pong hau k'i and in Korea it is called Ou-moul-ko-no. It looks easy but actually takes some thought and good strategies. This game is for two players. You will need a game board, which is very easy to draw, and each player needs two counters or buttons (the stones).

Place two stones at the top and two at the bottom as shown below . (At the start of the next game the players should swap positions).

The players take turns at sliding one stone along a line to an empty spot. (So the first move will always be to the middle). To win, you have to block the other player so he or she can't move.

If your browser is Java-enabled, you can play the computer at stones.

You move the red counters about whilst the computer plays with the blue counters.
You can move any of your pieces along the black lines with by one space.

The object is to stop the block all of the computer's moves before it blocks you.
You can also decide who plays first and from where using the buttons below.

Good Luck!
