Why do this
problem?
These two short problems require children to apply their
knowledge of time and each would make a good lesson starter or
plenary.

Possible extension
Wonky Watches would make a good follow-up problem to these
short challenges.
Possible support
Having a clock to refer to, or some pictures of a clock face,
will help children work on the first problem. A calendar might be
useful for the second challenge.
