Stage: 2 and 3 Challenge Level:
This activity is designed to encourage pupils to talk about what
they see in the images and therefore refine their mathematical
language. In trying to reconstruct the basic shape, the
students will need to try out ideas, based on their visualisations,
using practical equipment. By discussing in small
groups, they will be able to refine these constructions and also
develop their own designs.
