Overview
Join Liz and Charlie online for a chance to start working on some problems that will challenge your students to think mathematically. We hope that after the event, students will continue to think about the problems and work towards solutions.
Aims
This webinar will be taking place during Maths Week London, but is open to all schools. It will be a great opportunity for students from London to work collaboratively with students from across the UK, and even further afield.
Who will benefit from attending?
Students aged 9 to 13 and their teachers
On the day
These events will be hosted on Zoom. Teachers will have the opportunity to use the Chat facility to share their students' ideas. We will alternate between thinking time and discussion time, bringing everyone together at various stages during the session.
We suggest teachers set up a computer and a projector to display the live feed to the whole class, who can work on the problem in small groups while the class teacher submits students' work. Students will need pen and paper, or whiteboards.
