This event will include plenaries for primary and secondary colleagues, and particular workshops for key stage 1/2 teachers and key stage 3/4 teachers.
Thanks to generous philanthropic and in-kind support we can offer free places to all all teachers from UK state maintained schools/academies.
The day will include opportunities to:
- consider what makes an engaging maths classroom
- work on a variety of NRICH low threshold, high ceiling tasks
- explore the role of the teacher
To explore how low threshold high ceiling tasks can be used in a whole class learning environment with students working at a variety of attainment levels.
Who will benefit from attending?
All teachers of mathematics in Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4 who want to develop their expertise in working with low threshold high ceiling NRICH tasks.
Student teachers who will be graduating in 2020 are also welcome to attend the day.
