Incey Wincey Spider

This game is for you to play against a friend. You'll need two dice. You can play on the interactive version below, or you could print off a paper version in colour or black and white . If you play on paper, you'll need a counter to be the spider too.

Decide who is the sunshine and who is the rain - sunshine moves the spider up the drain pipe and rain moves the spider down.

Start by playing with one dice. Take it in turns to throw the dice and move the spider that number of spaces up (if you are sunshine) or down (if you are rain).

If the spider gets right to the top of the pipe, sunshine wins. If it gets to the bottom, rain wins.

Next, try a more interesting version of the game. This time, use two dice. When it is your turn to throw, you can decide which dice number to use. In this game, you must land exactly on the end of the drain pipe to win.
