Members of the NRICH team have
been directly involved in shaping the new curriculum and are,
therefore, uniquely placed to help teachers understand the
potential of rich mathematical tasks at all Key
Stages.
Free support is available
on-line to help teachers work together, think about, and
integrate rich tasks into classroom practice. Alternatively,
bespoke professional development workshops are available to
schools at a venue of their choice. See below for further

Teacher Inspiration Days
A series of three, free professional
development days for mathematics teachers organised by the
NRICH Team in Cambridge during the academic years 2008/9,
2009/10 and 2010/11.
Aim : To
support mathematics teachers who are committed to nurturing
confident, resourceful and enthusiastic learners.
Dates and themes:

- 2nd July 2010 - Enriching networks, inspiring

Free support online: Integrating Rich Tasks
This series of professional development resources is designed
to support teachers working together, thinking about, and
integrating rich tasks into classroom practice.

Bespoke professional development workshops
Workshops, available at your own centre in the UK, offer
opportunities to consider how rich tasks can be used to help
learners explore mathematical ideas, pose their own problems
and develop problem-solving skills. Tailored workshops can
range from a minimum of 1½ hours to a series of whole
days.
