Ask NRICH - the Ask-a-Mathematician service

This web-board is monitored by a team of mathematicians who are ready to help you with any mathematical questions you have. Our team is not here to give you answers to questions you have been set, but they will help you to make sense of the mathematics involved and to use what you know to answer the question youself.

To post anything, you need to be registered, but this is free; just click on the link at the top right. We do recommend that you have a look in About Ask NRICH before you begin posting, particularly at Getting started.

Asked NRICH contains many of the discussions that have taken place in the past, so you may find answers to your questions already there.

NRICH is our parent site, which has loads of mathematics resources for all ages.
