A task which depends on members of the group working collaboratively to reach a single goal.

En-counterslive

Stage: 1 and 2 Challenge Level: Challenge Level:1

This task requires learners to explain and help others, asking and answering questions.

Guess the Houseslive

Stage: 1 Challenge Level: Challenge Level:1

This task depends on learners sharing reasoning, listening to opinions, reflecting and pulling ideas together.

The NRICH Project aims to enrich the mathematical experiences of all learners. To support this aim, members of the NRICH team work in a wide range of capacities, including providing professional development for teachers wishing to embed rich mathematical tasks into everyday classroom practice.
