Mr Lewis' class at St Mary's School in Bicester wrote to us:

We found a variety of different solutions for making an arc from straight lines. Some children, like John, found that by carefully laying the strips into a circular pattern they could create a series of colourful circles:



Other children, such as Lauren, found that by laying their strips into a semi-circle they could create a rainbow effect:
