The NRICH Project aims to enrich the mathematical experiences of
all learners. To support this aim, members of the
NRICH
team work in a wide range of capacities, including providing
professional development for teachers wishing to embed rich
mathematical tasks into everyday classroom practice. More
information on many of our other activities can be found
here

On this website you will find thousands of our free mathematics
enrichment materials (problems, articles and games) for teachers
and learners from ages 5 to 19 years. All the resources are
designed to develop subject knowledge, problem-solving and
mathematical thinking skills. The website is updated with
new material on
the first day of every month.
For guidance on how to find the right resources for you, go to the

section of the site.
This month
This
month's mathematical theme continues to be analysing. All the
problems and resources this month offer opportunities to think
about, and practise, aspects of problem solving, such as making
connections, using knowledge of similar problems, visualising and
making and justifying conjectures. The 'Notes' accompanying each
problem are there to help give teachers an insight into how
'analysing' might happen in the classroom. A list of the themes of
previous issues can be found
here .

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new section of the
NRICH website:
bioNRICH .
This is a section of NRICH devoted to the mathematics underlying
the study of biology, in all of its wonderful diversity. On the
bioNRICH pages we provide rich, stimulating mathematical material
in which this connection is highlighted and explored. There are
over 30 new rich
problems
, 9 of which are interactive, along with supporting articles and
notes. Why not
