# Family Fortune

##### Stage: 3 Short Challenge Level:

£240.

The difference between one third of the sum of money and one quarter of it is £20. So one twelfth of the sum of money is £20.

Alternatively, the three brothers' extra £20 each would have been the sister's share, so each share is £60, so the total is £240.
