These boxes have everything to get your class involved in a mathematical challenge: A4 problem cards for pairs to share (or you can print out multiple copies from the CD-ROM); enough equipment for a class of children working in pairs on the same problem at the same time; a teachers' book and a CD-ROM of the problems, activity sheets and notes - all in a neat storage box. There are problems about finding all the possibilities, diagram problems and visual puzzles, problems involving finding rules and describing patterns, and logic puzzles. Each problem has an extension. There's help in encouraging children to explain their methods and in analysing their strategies. Three boxes are available, one for Years 1/2, one for Years 3/4 and one for Years 5/6.
