Start with any number of counters in any number of piles. 2 players take it in turns to remove any number of counters from a single pile. The loser is the player who takes the last counter.

A game for two players You need: Four counters each A game board To start: Take it in turns to place a counter on an empty circle. Keep going until all the counters are on the board. Then take it in turns to slide one of your counters along a line to an empty circle. The winner: the first player to get three counters in a straight line.
