CPD: A Two Day Programme for MaST teachers and Maths Subject Leaders

The five major Primary Maths CPD providers have co-ordinated a CPD programme for MaST teachers and Primary Maths coordinators.

Come and join us for two linked days of professional development focused on supporting you in implementing the new mathematics curriculum from September 2014.

Introducing the new mathematics curriculum and materials to support it:Debbie Morgan

Workshops: (choice of three from four; you will be asked to indicate your workshop choices when booking)

A: NCETM: Progression in fractions: Debbie Morgan
B: NRICH: Practical ways to address the 3 aims: focusing on fluency: Liz Woodham, Jennie Pennant or Lynne McClure
C: MA/ATM Algebra and the new curriculum : Andrew Jeffrey, Jo Watson et al
D: NAMA: Working with others; developing a whole school understanding: Charlotte Madine or Jennie Pennant

Day 2:
Keynote: NRICH: Putting problem solving at the centre of the new curriculum- Lynne McClure, Jennie Pennant or Liz Woodham

Workshops: (choice of three from four; you will be asked to indicate your workshop choices when booking)
