Why do this
problem?
This
activity is excellent for providing an interesting scenario for
pupils to use and explore their knowledge of numbers in the context
of addition and multiplication.
Possible approach
It would be good to have the practical activity available and
see how scores are made and calculated
Key questions
I see you've done a number of calculations, can you tell me
about them.
Possible extension
Pupils to suggest other similar problems with slight changes
and then they test to see if there are possible answers.
